State Requirements

Here you can find the the requirements for becoming an electrician for each state:

 

Through 2022 jobs for electricians are expected to grow by over 20% which is well above the national average of 11%. Add in the fact that the apprenticeship period is paid for and costsly college loans do not have to be taken out; becoming an electrician can be a great career choice. While requirements are somewhat similar across all the sates they do vary enough that it is important to research your specific state and find out exactly what you need to do in order to become an electrician. Remember that all states require an apprenticeship to be completed before you can become an electrician. We will have the list of states complete over the next couple weeks.
